Moderately active but not overly strenuous. This level includes activities like casual cycling, yoga, or excursions/activities that typically last 3-5 hours total each day.
South Coast Waterfalls
The day's first stop is Seljalandsfoss waterfall, renowned as one of Iceland's most fantastic attractions. You can walk behind the impressive cascade of the fall, making Seljalandsfoss an ideal setting for an unforgettable photoshoot.
Volcano Views
Witness the stunning landscapes while traversing southern Iceland's fertile farmlands and quaint villages. This region is steeped in Viking lore and history and overseen by the notorious Eyjafjallajökull and Hekla volcanoes. On days with clear skies, you can enjoy magnificent views of these iconic volcanoes and the Westman Islands along the coast.
Glacier Hike & Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach
The subsequent leg of your journey marks a significant milestone for those unfamiliar with glacier exploration. Experience the resounding crack of ancient ice as you go on a secure glacier hike led by a certified guide. Following the glacier adventure, proceed to Reynisfjara, where you can leisurely wander along the renowned black sand beach, famed for its distinctive basalt columns and caves. Observe the Reynisdrangar cliffs and basalt formations emerging from the sea, which, in Icelandic folklore, are said to be trolls petrified by the dawn's light.
Skogafoss Waterfall
The day tour concludes with a visit to the magnificent Skógafoss Waterfall. Approach the towering 60-meter waterfall closely and experience the mist on your face. Ascend the 527 steps for a panoramic view of the waterfall's cascade and the rainbows it creates.
The minimum age requirement for a Glacier Hike is eight years old.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!
Friendly people who ask good questions to make sure your trip is what you want

Our six-day tour in Iceland went smoothly with one exception. We had asked for two rooms each night. Somehow we were booked with one room with three beds. It could not be fixed at the first hotel in Reykjavik because the hotel was fully booked. Once informed of the problem, however, Adventure Life rebooked for two rooms for the remainder of the trip. As an 85-year-old traveler, I appreciated that one could participate at different physical levels at many of the stops. Iceland is a great place to visit but on the expensive side.
