Day 1: Piraeus (Port of Athens), Greece | Embark

Strolling through the Agora beneath the Acropolis, it feels as if the voices of Plato, Socrates, and Aristotle still echo, debating philosophy’s greatest minds. Ancient Athens, the cradle of democracy and the cornerstone of Western civilization remains a timeless city. Its port, Piraeus, lies 15 km from the city center and 45 km from the airport.

Day 2: At Sea

Each Star Clippers ship offers a traditional and elegant way to see the world. Feel the wind fill the sails and gently carry you from one gorgeous destination to the next. During your time on board, you can choose to relax on a sun lounger or cool off in one of the pools on the top deck, while more adventurous passengers may enjoy the opportunity to climb the rigging or even have a go at steering the ship. Alternatively, you can wander the interior areas of the ship and discover relaxing lounges and a peaceful library.

Day 3: Sailing through the Samos Strait | Kusadasi, Turkey (Optional Tour Ephesus)

Kusadasi is a lively seaside resort and, above all, the main access point to the famous archaeological site of Ephesus. Extensive excavations have revealed an Ionian city through which visitors can wander. Among the best-preserved ruins are the Theatre, Hadrian's Gate, the Library of Celsus, the Street of the Curetes, Trajan's Fountain, and the Odeon, giving visitors a chance to immerse themselves in this bygone civilization.

Day 4: Patmos, Greece

This serene island is known as the site of the apocalyptic revelations of St. John the Divine. The cave where he is said to have lived is now the site of the Monastery of the Apocalypse. It houses priceless icons and manuscripts in its treasury.

Day 5: Amorgos, Greece

Amorgos cliff-clinging monastery of Hozoviotissas has one of the most spectacular locations in Greece. Only a few monks live in the cavernous 50-room monastery, but the view from their terrace aerie might make you think they had all flown to heaven from this very spot.

Day 6: Mykonos, Greece

One of the most cosmopolitan Greek Islands, Mykonos is a contrast of rocky hills and beautiful beaches. Hora, the capital, spreads around a colorful harbor, a popular meeting place overlooked by various tavernas, in which fishing boats nestle side by side with luxury yachts.

Day 7: Sifnos, Greece

Sifnos, a tranquil jewel in the Aegean Sea, enchants travelers with its harmonious blend of Greek tradition and natural beauty. This Cycladic island is celebrated for its pristine beaches, traditional villages adorned with whitewashed buildings, and a vibrant culinary scene. The island's picturesque churches, winding cobblestone streets, and charming tavernas create an authentic Greek ambiance that's both relaxing and invigorating. Sifnos is renowned for its local cuisine, featuring delectable specialties like chickpea soup and honey-drenched pastries. With its serene beaches and warm hospitality, Sifnos is a perfect destination for those seeking an unspoiled Greek island experience.
