Day 1: Arrive in Baltra | Puerto Ayora

This morning, arrive at Baltra Airport in Santa Cruz, where your guide will meet you. Prepare for an exciting journey; as soon as you retrieve your bags from the airport, you will be taken directly to the day's activities. First, sail across the Itabaca Channel, which separates Baltra from the main island of Santa Cruz. After leaving the ferry terminal, travel to the highlands to see giant tortoises at Rancho Primicias, a well-known local attraction. Here, you can get up close and personal with these incredible animals while strolling with them in their natural environment.

After lunch, follow in Darwin’s footsteps at the Charles Darwin Station, where you will learn about the origins of the Galapagos Islands and observe native species. Then, check-in to relax and unwind in the comfortable and inviting rooms of your lodging at Angermeyer Waterfront Inn in Puerto Ayora. Dinner is included, featuring a fixed menu at Nahm, the inn’s delicious restaurant with breathtaking views.

Day 2: Island Hopping Activity

After breakfast is served this morning, sail out on a yacht to spend the day exploring one of the many nearby islands. Enjoy a mix of swimming and snorkeling at incredible locations like Bartolome Island, Santa Fe Island, North Seymour Island, or South Plaza Island, each with unique wildlife and awe-inspiring landscapes that your guide will identify along the way. A refueling lunch will be provided between activities on the yacht today. Enjoy some downtime at the Angermeyer Inn following an exciting day on the water. Take in the views and enjoy dinner on the waterfront this evening.

Day 3: Island Hopping Activity

On the third day of exploring, head back out on the water to explore a different island of this rich archipelago. The day begins with another delicious and hearty breakfast at La Isla Grill. Soon after, float in the open blue sea, feeling the sea breeze and catching glimpses of the marine life of this gorgeous place. Enjoy sunbathing and relaxing while you sail to a stunning natural destination and discover more of the Galapagos. Lunch will be served on board. After today’s expedition, return to the hotel to relax before enjoying your final dinner in the inn’s gourmet restaurant.

Day 4: Baltra | Return Home

  • 1 Breakfast
It is time to depart today after spending a few days soaking in the enchantment of the Galapagos Islands. Enjoy a hearty breakfast first, then fill up the transfer car with your belongings. The amazing Twin Craters, located in the island's highlands and the product of volcanic eruptions, are worth seeing on your way back to the airport. Watch for an incredible variety of Galapagos bird species with your guide. From Twin Craters, continue to Baltra airport, where you will head back home or continue your adventure on mainland Ecuador.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!
