In the morning, we land at Bachas Beach on Santa Cruz Island. We have an easy and short walk along the white sand beach, where we see sea turtle nests and meet with a scientist who is studying sea turtles. Afterwards, we go for a quick snorkel where we see sharks and myriad fish. The water is a bit murky, making it hard to see.
In the afternoon, we head to the Santa Cruz Highlands to visit the giant tortoises. This is a repeat visit from my trip 10 years ago, but it's lovely to revisit these prehistoric creatures. The Santa Cruz Highlands have a lush, tropical landscape unlike most of the other islands in the archipelago. We explore the lava tunnels and get VERY close to giant tortoises at El Chato. Back on board the ship, we feast on pistachio crusted mahi mahi for dinner, followed by hot apple crisp for dessert. We head up to the sun deck after dinner for a dance party and cocktails.
Kassandra is knowledgeable, efficient and very pleasant to work with.

Claudia does an excellent job of communicating. HOWEVER…you paperwork requirements are constipated — a real impediment to doing business. Fire the lawyers or accountants over that.
