Day 1: San Cristobal

Arrive on San Cristobal and transfer to the Eric or Letty for your Galapagos Adventure!

Begin your journey by cruising around Kicker Rock and spot nesting colonies of frigatebirds. Kicker Rock is a famous cone formation which rises nearly 500 feet out of the sea.

Day 2: San Cristobal

Arrive at Cerro Brujo, a breathtaking white coral beach. Cerro Brujo is considered to be one of the most pristine in the Galapagos Islands and is ideal for birders and short walks. Snorkel or swim with sea lions or take a zodiac ride.

Day 3: Espanola

Punta Suarez, Espanola, offers the highest range of endemic species in Galapagos. Colonies of blue-footed boobies are found engaging in sky-pointing, used to show off for future mates. There is also a unique species of marine iguana which feature red and green colorings. Snorkel and swim with sea lions or sit on the beach and observe sally light-foot crabs skirt across the sand.

Day 4: Floreana

Step ashore at Punta Cormorant, one of the only populated islands in the Galapagos archipelago. This island is intriguing and presents a rich human history with that of the animals.

Hike towards a lagoon, home to several species of birds including the greater flamingo. Hope to see nesting sea turtles and rays as they jump out of the water. Snorkel at Devil’s Crown or Champion, shallow sunken craters known for their fish and coral inhabitants.

Day 5: Santa Cruz Island

Travel by bus to the highlands of Santa Cruz Island. Watch as the scenery changes, covering each of the seven vegetation zones. Visit Las Primicias, a private farm where you can encounter giant tortoises in their natural habitat. Stop at the tunnels, the largest lava tubes found in Galapagos, and then visit Los Gemelos and the Charles Darwin Research Station.

Day 6: Santa Cruz Island | Bartolome | Chinese Hat

Disembark at Bartolome, an island which is largely inhospitable to most plants and wildlife. Hike for half an hour towards the summit of an extinct volcano. Admire lava bombs, spatter, and cinder cones found along the way. At the top, gaze across the island for panoramic views. Snorkel in the clear water with schools of tropical fish and Galapagos penguins or take a ride on the zodiac.

Travel to Sombrero Chino (Chinese Hat), named for its unique rocky shape. Land on shore and walk though a sea lion colony before taking a trail through dramatic volcanic landscape.

Day 7: Baltra | Disembark

  • 1 Breakfast
Sail to Baltra, a small and flat centrally located island. Explore the vegetation and trails of the island.

Transfer to the Baltra airport for your connection to the mainland.

This was our first trip to South America and we were a little nervous. But Adventure Life made things so easy! All our questions were answered before we left, and our guide, Vidal, was amazing! He gave us enough space to explore without rushing us along. He also knew where the best picture taking opportunities were, which was great.
