Day 1: Paris | Embark

Enjoy a day to explore the world’s most romantic city before embarking on your Seine River cruise. Take in the charm of the City of Light with some shopping, leisurely walks, or simply savoring a croissant and café au lait while watching the bustling Parisian streets unfold around you.

Day 2: Les Andelys | Vernon

Monet's Muses, Castle Courtyards, and Crepes du Jour

Explore Vernon's Chateau des Tourelles on foot with your Adventure Host, or enjoy a Guided Tour of Giverny, visiting Claude Monet's home and the iconic gardens that inspired his art. Alternatively, take a Guided Visit to Bizy Castle, known as "Normandy's Versailles" for its grand courtyard, water garden, and stables. During your cruise, savor a traditional French lunch featuring crêpes, followed by a Pastry Demonstration. In the afternoon, cruise to the charming town of Les Andelys, where you can either hike to the ruins of Château Gaillard, once home to King Richard the Lionheart or take a Guided Walking Tour of the picturesque town.

Monet's House is closed in March and November. This excursion will be replaced with a Guided Tour of La Roche-Guyon and its castle during this period. Château Gaillard excursion will not be operated in November.

Day 3: Caudebec

Enjoy a leisurely bike ride along the river with your Adventure Host, or embark on a Guided Tour of the Normandy Abbeys Route, where over 100 medieval Benedictine and Augustine abbeys and churches line the Seine. In the afternoon, you can opt for a Guided Excursion to the historic seaside town of Honfleur.

Day 4: Caudebec | Normandy

Join a Guided Tour of Normandy’s WWII landing beaches, visiting key U.S. sites like Omaha Beach, the Pointe du Hoc monument, and the American Cemetery, or opt for a full-day tour of British and Canadian sites, including the British cemetery, Pegasus Memorial, Arromanches, the Juno Beach Center, and Beny-sur-Mer Canadian War Cemetery. Alternatively, experience Normandy’s authentic traditions on a guided tour with a brandy tasting in Calvados. Later, relax with live entertainment on board your ship.

Day 5: Rouen

Join a Guided Bike Tour to explore Rouen's iconic landmarks and hidden gems on two wheels, or opt for a Guided Walking Tour to visit the site of Saint Joan of Arc's martyrdom, stroll through the medieval quarter, and admire the 16th-century Astronomical Clock and the stunning Notre-Dame Cathedral.

Day 6: Conflans

Enjoy a leisurely bike ride along the Seine with your Adventure Host, or choose a Guided Visit to Auvers-sur-Oise, the home and final resting place of Vincent van Gogh. Alternatively, take a Guided Tour of the luxurious Chateau de Malmaison, the former residence of Napoleon Bonaparte and his wife, Josephine. You may also opt for a Guided Excursion to the Palace of Versailles, the historic home of French kings.

Chateau de Malmaison is closed on the 1st Sunday of each month and the 21st of September. On these dates, this excursion will be replaced by a visit to Chateau de Chantilly.

Day 7: Paris

Explore the Seine River on foot with your Adventure Host, or embark on a Guided Walk through Paris' historic center, visiting landmarks like the Palais-Royal, the Louvre pyramid, Ile de la Cite, the Left Bank, and the lively Latin Quarter. Alternatively, take a Guided City Tour showcasing Paris' iconic attractions, including the Louvre Museum, Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Opera Garnier, and the renowned Champs-Elysees. You can also wander Paris independently or relax with a glass of wine at a literary cafe on the Left Bank.

Day 8: Paris | Disembark

After breakfast, disembark for your flight home, or spend more time in Paris on your own.
