Day 1: Tulcea, Romania | Embark

Passengers are welcome to board the ship at 6:00 p.m.  After comfortably settling into your cabins, enjoy a welcome cocktail with the crew. Enjoy dinner and a traditional folklore evening.

*Passengers will choose either the Classic or Discovery package to participate in for the duration of the voyage.

Day 2: Tulcea | Danube Delta

Today's excursions are:

Classic: Tour the Danube Delta and walk away with impressions that will last a lifetime.

Discovery: Delta Danube on a speedboat. Onboard a 7-passenger speedboat, tour the Danube Delta and enjoy the flora and fauna.

Cruise to Oltenita and travel through Romania. The ship will cruise through the night.

Day 3: Oltenita | Giurgiu | Ruse, Bulgaria

Join a guided visit of Bucharest. Bucharest offers a striking combination of architectural styles: orthodox churches, Empire-style manor houses, Communist-inspired architecture, and the Parliament (outside only - entrance fees not included).

Cruise to Ruse, one of the biggest ports in Bulgaria. Enjoy an evening of traditional entertainment.

Day 4: Ruse

Today enjoy a magnificent tour of Ruse. The city is impressive with its broad avenues, large squares and wonderful buildings which pay tribute to the architecture of the national Renaissance. After your tour, return to the ship and begin to cruise all afternoon. Pass through two countries, Romania on the left bank and Bulgaria on the right bank.

Day 5: The Iron Gates

Spend the day cruising on the Danube sailing through Romania, Bulgaria, and Serbia. Your ship passes through the Iron Gates, the gorge on the Danube between the Carpathians and the Balkans. On the Serbian bank of the river, catch a glimpse of the Tabula Traiana - a marble plaque honoring the Roman Road that once linked Rome to the province of Dacia.

Day 6: Belgrade | Novi Sad, Serbia

Today's excursions are:

Classic: Guided tour of the Serbian capital.

Discovery: Biking in Belgrade. Cycle along the history-filled streets with your guide, who'll explain the city's recent past from World War II to current times.

After your tour, return to the ship. Excursion is common for both packages: Guided tour of Novi Sad. Start cruising in the direction of Mohacs.

Day 7: Bezdan | Mohacs | Kalocsa

Arrive in Mohacs. In the afternoon, excursion common for both packages: The Puszta. Return on board in Kalocsa and cruise to Budapest. Enjoy a Hungarian feast this evening. 

Day 8: Budapest, Hungary

Today's excursions are:

Classic: Sightseeing tour of Budapest, once two distinct cities that united only in 1873.

Discovery: Budapest by bike. You'll see all the important sights of the city on an easy-paced ride, cycling through the historical center of Hungarian culture and many other legendary sites in Budapest.

Enjoy a free afternoon in Budapest. Optional (not included in the packages): Discover the Gellert Baths and Spa. After your visits, begin to cruise to Bratislava. 

Day 9: Bratislava, Slovakia

Today's excursions are:

Classic: Guided tour of Bratislava. The charm of the Slovakian capital lies in its old city: splendid Baroque palaces, churches and pleasant squares.

Discovery: Hiking in Bratislava: The Little Carpathians. From Devin Castle, take in the splendid view of Bratislava. Then return on board. 

Day 10: Vienna, Austria

Today's excursions are:

Classic: Visit Schoenbrunn Palace, the former summer residence of the imperial family, and a panoramic tour of Vienna.

Discovery: The high art of Viennese living: Music and Viennese cafes. We'll stroll through the city and visit backstage in the Konzerthaus concert hall. After your tour, enjoy a steaming cup of Vienna Coffee and a delicious pastry.

Return on board and explore the city on your own in the afternoon. Optional excursion not included in the packages: Horse-drawn carriage ride through Vienna.

In the evening, join an optional excursion for both packages: Concert of Viennese music (subject to availability).
The ship will cruise to Melk during the night.

Day 11: Melk

Once you arrive in Melk, join an excursion common for both packages: Visit the Melk Abbey. Originally a Baroque-style palace built between 1702 and 1736, it is now a Benedictine monastery that hosts a prestigious coed school with more than 900 students. We'll then return on board and depart for Linz. Tonight is your festive gala evening. 

Day 12: Linz, Austria | Disembark

Enjoy breakfast before disembarking at 9:00 a.m. in Linz. End of the services.
