The Napo Wildlife Center is an ultimate alternative luxury eco-hotel in Amazonian Ecuador. The lodge complex is located by the Anangucocha lake, within the unique ancestral territory of the Anangu Quichua Community, part of the Yasuni National Park. The lodge was designed with high-quality facilities and accommodations to provide an exclusive and personalized rain forest experience to travelers wishing to see the best of the Amazon.

The central structure, or main hall, of Napo Wildlife Center, offers several comfortable social areas, including a full-stocked bar, reading lounge where briefings may also be conducted and a 20-foot high observation tower that provides a 360-degree view of the surrounding wilderness. A combination of the main hall's location and the traditional openness of Kichwa architecture make it comfortable even during the heat of midday.

Napo Wildlife Center consists of 16 luxury cabanas which are large, offer one king-sized bed and one twin-sized bed, and feature private bathrooms with on-demand hot water showers. Each cabana has its own private porch and lake views. Ceiling fans and secure screens offer bug-free ventilation.

This was my first experience with Adventure Life - and I couldn't have been more pleased with the trip. The guides and local staff in both Buenos Aires and Uruguay were terrific - extremely helpful and accommodating. I really enjoyed meeting the friendly staff in Buenos Aires in person (I left my bags with them for the afternoon).
