Max Passengers: 159
Ship Type: River Cruise ShipOperated by: Scenic CruisesScenic Pearl was built in 2011 and, along with sister Scenic “Space ship”
Scenic Ruby, was refurbished in 2019. Ruby and Pearl provide seamless luxury and comfort while transporting passengers to the farthest reaches of
Europe via its prestigious and ancient waterways. Both vessels have been meticulously restored to include plush interior design elements that provide the same level of luxury as a boutique hotel.
The ships itself have four decks: the Sun Deck, Diamond Deck, Sapphire Deck, and Jewel Deck, each of which houses a number of suites and cabins as well as a variety of famous public spaces and dining venues such as Crystal Dining, Riverview Terrace, Portobellos, and the Panorama Lounge Bar. You'll be astonished by the amount of richness and luxury accorded to every part of these unique river ships, no matter whose deck you find yourself walking home to after an evening spent savoring the culinary sensations of Table La Rive or perhaps watching the world float by from Riverview Terrace.
Scenic Pearl Cabins Staterooms and Suites
Staterooms and Suites onboard range in size from 160 to 325 square feet. Check out one of the two Royal Panorama Suites, which measure a whopping 325 square feet. Except for the lowest (Jewel Deck 1)-type cabins, 87% of the ship's cabins are balcony cabins. See Scenic Pearl deck plans below.
Floor-to-ceiling sliding doors open to a full-size private veranda (furniture with black-white wicker chairs). This unique design on each suite is called the "Sun Lounge" balcony. This is actually a glass-enclosed cabin seating room with floor-to-ceiling windows that open. There are sheers and blackout drapes behind the window. This cabin's sun lounge becomes an outdoor veranda at the touch of a button.
All Scenic Pearl rooms have queen beds (some can be twins), bedside tables, private en-suite luxury bathroom (WC, sink, shower cubicle, lighted mirror, color lighting system, luxury bath products ), slide-door closets (hangers, drawers, shelves), flat HDTV (with "View From the Bridge"/real-time webcam views), desk, deluxe Egyptian cotton bedding sets (sheets and duvets), minibar, hairdryer, bathrobes, and individual climate control.
Dining aboard Scenic Pearl
On a Scenic Tours river cruise, guests have a wonderful variety of dining options: the casual all-day River Café, the intimacy of Portobellos Italian Restaurant, the elegance of the Crystal Dining Restaurant, the English tradition of high tea on the Riverview Terrace, and the exclusive Table La Rive for Diamond Deck, Junior Suite, and Royal Suite guests. You certainly are spoilt for choice, from refined to laidback, alfresco to intimate.
While onboard, all drinks, spirits, beer, and wine are complimentary. Only a few rare, fine and vintage wines, champagnes, and spirits are exempt.
Scenic Pearl Dress Code
Casual clothes are appropriate during the day (wear sturdy, comfortable shoes for all the walking trips) and smart casual at night. Women would wear dressy pants outfits, skirts, or dresses, while men would wear nice slacks and button-down shirts (jackets optional). People dressed up more for the Captain's Welcome & Farewell dinners or dining at Portobellos and Table La Rive.
Onboard Amenities
Passengers can relax and socialize in various public places onboard Scenic's "Space Ships." Riverview Terrace is the best place for a scenic view of the water, especially at sunrise. The sun deck is a great place to exercise, and it also offers a convenient place to tan and get some vitamin D. If you don't want to leave the ship, you can always hang out in the lounge or bar or check out the gift shop.
An onboard walking track helps you stay fit while admiring our beautiful surroundings. You can hire an e-bike to get around quickly and easily, and if you're feeling tired or sore from all that walking, you can visit the wellness center, where some of the most luxurious treatments are available for purchase. Passengers can take advantage of an elevator.
