The public lounge faces forward with the same view as the Captain, affording spectacular views of the scenery, ports and wildlife along the way. A selection of library of books that pertain to many aspects of Alaska such as history, geology, marine and wildlife is provided in the lounge, which is specially designed for marine and wildlife viewing. Afternoon and evening lecturers are offered to educate guests on the many fascinating aspects of Alaska history, geology, marine and wildlife.

Dining Aboard the Alaskan Dream
The Alaskan Dream team of professionally trained chefs takes great pride in presenting outstanding, prepared meal selections featuring fresh, organic, and locally produced food. Menus change daily offering several selections from a menu usually including a seafood or meat entree. Fresh, locally caught Alaskan seafood is a specialty of an Alaskan Dream cruise. Early or late risers or light eaters can enjoy a continental breakfast buffet in dining room in the morning, with sit down meals for lunch and dinner in the Dining Room, configured for easy conversation and unassigned seating to offer the most comfortable experience possible.

A selection of fine alcoholic beverages, beer, and wine are available aboard ship for independent purchase, but not included in cruise fare. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate are available at all times in both the Dining Room and forward viewing lounges.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!
