Embark on your ship in Venice, the heart and soul of romance. Cast your eye on the rounded domes of San Marco, take a deep breath at the Bridge of Sighs, gaze on the golden lions and the Renaissance glories of the Doge's Palace, listen for the ghosts of Verdi, Puccini, and Caruso at La Fenice Opera House, gape at the classic Palladian proportions of the Church of San Giorgio Maggiore, glide in a gondola down the Grand Canal. And know that love is always in the air in Venice.
The warm sands of Cikat Bay, situated near the port of Mali Losinj, where you anchor, are an irresistible magnet for beachgoers. And no wonder the beach is 30 kilometers long and offers every watersport imaginable. For those who prefer to wander farther afield, the bicycle tour takes you around the island past the fortified town of Veli Losinj.
The heavenly scent of lavender perfumes the air in the fields and valleys around the island of Hvar. Idyllically located just off the Dalmatian Coast, the island and the little port named after it have been a favorite getaway ever since the time of the Romans, the Byzantines, the Venetians, and even Austro-Hungarian royalty.
This stunning rock-walled chasm splitting the coastal mountains of Montenegro is the longest arm of the sea in southern Europe. Boka harbors the medieval city of Kotor, one of the prettiest, unspoiled towns you can ever see. Founded by the Romans, fortified during the Byzantine era, and then ruled by Venice for much of its history, Kotor has been naturally preserved by its isolation.
George Bernard Shaw said, 'Those who seek paradise on earth should come to Dubrovnik.' Indeed, Dubrovnik is a treasure by any measure made more precious by its miraculous restoration. Crowned by the Minceta Tower, the 10th-century city walls are the proud symbol of Dubrovnik's colorful history.
Vis Island has been described as a pearl among Croatian Adriatic Islands left untouched by tourism for many years. As it develops, it is becoming increasingly popular, particularly with yachtsmen. The island is known for its many beautiful beaches and fascinating history. Vis was founded in about 397 B.C. as a base for the Greek colonization of the Adriatic Sea.
Rovinj is a typical example of a Mediterranean town. The Baroque three-nave church of St. Euphemia (Fuma) dominates the town. Close to the harbor are the clock tower, the Baroque Balbi's Arch, and the former 17th-century Town Hall. To the east lies the complex of the Franciscan monastery, and to the south, Rovinj's oldest monument, the Romanesque heptagonal chapel of the Holy Trinity.

This was my first experience with Adventure Life - and I couldn't have been more pleased with the trip. The guides and local staff in both Buenos Aires and Uruguay were terrific - extremely helpful and accommodating. I really enjoyed meeting the friendly staff in Buenos Aires in person (I left my bags with them for the afternoon).
The Adventure Life staff, for me it's Franny, always listens to what I say about what kind of travel my wife and I want and expect. It never goes wrong. The motto at AL seems to be I will get back to you right away if not sooner. Requested changes and special requests are encouraged and acted on ASAP.

Prompt responses with full details needed to make our decision. Mary gave all her contact info including time she is available and website to schedule a call so we knew what to expect.
My only issue was the means to change to a personal password. Once I asked Mary she connected me with her admin person and I accomplished the change.
