Namuwoki Lodge

Namuwoki, in the indigenous language Bribri means “the jaguar's house”. Out of love with this Caribbean corner unique because of its biodiversity, the Namuwoki Lodge helps travelers discover with their own senses the fascinating country that is waiting. With this in mind, the Namuwoki Lodge has been created to be a comfortable and friendly base for all visitors, placed between the jungle and tropical beaches where travelers can settle into the Caribbean of Costa Rica.

Dive into incredible scenarios and watch the natural signs that occur all around. Be surprised with the animal life that is found in the middle of luxuriant vegetation surrounding your bungalow. Enjoy the tropical beaches and jungles with all of the senses.

Namuwoki is at the Southeast of Costa Rica, bathed by the Caribbean Sea, at the entrance of the Shelter of Wild Life Gandoca de Manzanillo, in an area where the most beautiful beaches of the country belonging to the Biological Row of Mesoamerica are waiting for your arrival.

The Lodge
Relax in the community area with the fellow guests at Namuwoki Lodge. Linger over good coffee, take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool, or relax in the Jacuzzi or hammocks. There is also a covered open-air bower, where guests will enjoy breakfast in direct contact with nature.

A small shop is located on the premises with both handcrafted and manufactured products exclusive to this region of Costa Rica.

The small restaurant for dinner is located in the pool area. In it enjoy a taste of the cuisine that pays special attention to grilled meats and fish, infused with the flavors of the Spanish cuisine.

Accommodations at Namuwoki Lodge
Seven deluxe bungalows are offered as well as one Suite bungalow. All are immersed into the natural surroundings, creating a harmonious combination of comfort and nature.

A variety of bungalow sizes are available. Three can accommodate a maximum of 5 persons, four bungalows can accommodate 3 persons and the Suite bungalow is equipped for 2 persons. All bungalows are placed on 7,000 m2 of vegetation for the ultimate in rest and entertainment. They are just a mere 250 meters from the white and black sand beaches of the Caribbean Sea.

All of the bungalows have a terrace with a porch and hammocks, complete bathroom, fridge, hair dryer, hot water, roof ventilator and both 110v and 220v outlets. The decor is a cozy colonial style infused with Caribbean color.

One of the bungalows is adapted for handicapped travelers, and as well as the infrastructure of the lodge.
