After being picked up at your San Jose hotel in a comfortable minibus, you will be driven through Cartago and past scenic sugarcanes and coffee plantations at the base of Turrialba Volcano on the way to the river put-in at Tres Equis. After everyone is briefed on safety measures, an incredible rafting journey down this renowned river begins. Untouched wilderness stretches out in every direction as your raft squeezes between huge boulders and runs long stretches of powerful rapids. The thick undergrowth provides shelter for jaguars, ocelots, monkeys, sloths and myriad of species of colorful tropical birds. Costa Rica tours don't get better than this!
