Involves minimal physical effort and is typically associated with leisurely activities. Activities are low-intensity or last less than a few hours each day.
You start the afternoon getting to know two culturally and geologically important sites northwest of San Pedro de Atacama. As you stroll through the alleyways of the picturesque village of Río Grande, which seems to be from a different time, you learn about the culture, traditional architecture, and agriculture of the members of the area's indigenous community. Later, you visit the Rainbow Valley, which serves as your geological laboratory. Here, you witness one of the oldest places in the surroundings of San Pedro de Atacama, where millions of years old rocks surface in differently colored layers, giving the Rainbow Valley its name. At the end of the day, you gather on the rim of the Salt Mountain Range, above the Mars Valley (also known as Death Valley), where you can contemplate the capricious morphology of this range, as well as the gorgeousness of the Andes in the distance.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!
