At the heart of the Huilo Huilo Reserve stands the Nothufagus Hotel and Spa. With the temperate rainforest as its back drop, the hotel is uniquely designed to bring guests back to nature. Each room is constructed with natural wood and is suspended high above the tress. With a treehouse feel, the view of the forest from the balcony is spectacular.
The hotel offers spa services, as well as a variety of activities directly from the hotel. Guests can go hiking, horseback riding, birding, mountain biking, ziplining, or participate in self-guided tours.
Guests can also enjoy beautiful views of the rainforest from the dining room where meals are served buffet style. The hotel's unique design provides great areas to relax and enjoy the scenery of the Huilo Huilo Reserve.

Beyond expectations! Then again we weren't sure what to expect. Lovely stay at the lodge, met other like-minded travelers (many had their trips planned by Adventure Life) and the owner was a gracious hostess. It felt like you were one happy family, visiting with a favorite aunt.
