Navigate through the Chiloe Archipelago and Corcovado Gulf before arriving at Puerto Aguirre, a remote fishing village. Enjoy thermal baths and nature walks at Quitralco Fjord. Witness glaciers up close, including Pío XI, the largest in the Southern Hemisphere, and Amalia, where polished rock formations reveal ancient glacial movements. Explore El Brujo Glacier by boat and walk across the moraines at Bernal Glacier. Discover Puerto Edén, home to the indigenous Kaweskar people, and see elephant seals at Guadramiro Bay. Before arriving at Puerto Natales, sail through stunning channels, including Pulluche, Messier, and Sarmiento.

Depart from Puerto Montt, sailing through the Tenglo Channel and Llanquihue Archipelago. Pass by Calbuco village and cross Ancud Gulf. Navigate around the Chiloe Archipelago, passing Mechuque, Chauques, Caguache, and Tranqui islands. Continue through Corcovado Gulf toward the southern fjords.
Travel through the Moraleda Channel before reaching Puerto Aguirre, a remote fishing village in the Guaitecas Archipelago. Its residents have essential city amenities while enjoying the peace of the natural surroundings. Walk through the town and experience local life. Continue sailing through Ferronave, Pilcomayo, and other channels before arriving at Quitralco Fjord. Once an ancient seabed, is surrounded by towering snow-capped mountains and a dense, unique forest with a warm microclimate. Its calm, clear waters create a peaceful setting. Skorpios offers a retreat here, featuring natural volcanic thermal springs with temperatures between 32º and 38ºC. The name Quitralco means “Fire Water” in the local indigenous language. Disembark to explore the area, soak in hot springs, hike forested trails, or take a boat excursion. End the day with a traditional Patagonian lamb barbecue before continuing south through Quitralco Fjord.
Day 3: Pulluche Channel | Penas Gulf | Messier Channel
Arrive at Bernardo Fjord and go ashore, with a possible sighting of Huemules. Set sail to Puerto Eden, sailing Messier Channel, crossing Angostura Inglesa, and arriving in Puerto Eden at 17:00hrs. Puerto Eden is a fishing village on Isla Wellington, the birthplace of the Kaweskar or Alacalufe people. This tiny village has 300 inhabitants, the majority of whom are small-scale fishermen. This is the place to buy arts and crafts made by the last descendants of the Kaweskar. Disembark and walk through its streets made of wooden footbridges and its patagonic surroundings. In the evening, set sail toward Pío XI Glacier, navigating through Paso del Indio and Grappler Channel. Anchor and overnight in Pío Xi Bay.
Visit Pío XI Glacier, the biggest glacier in the Southern Hemisphere. Observe massive ice formation. Sail south through Eyre Fjord, Wide Channel, Concepcion Channel, Tres Cerros Channel, and Pitt Channel, anchoring in Caleta Villarica at midnight.
Navigate in front of Amalia Glacier, and disembark on this peninsula to watch the rocks that have been polished by the glacier, its flora, and its surroundings of a taller height. Sail south through the Asia Fjord. In the afternoon, arrive at El Brujo Glacier, disembark, and use exploration boats, toward magma rocks to admire this ice colossus and its tall towers of ice. Navigate to de las Montañas Fjord, through Sarmiento and Union channels.
Cruise through Fjord de las Montañas. Disembark at Bernal Glacier and walk through the moraines of the place. Continue sailing south, through Channel Morla Vicuña, and cross Angostura Kirke, Valdes Channel, before arriving at Guadramiro Bay. Disembark in boats to see an elephant's seal colony. Set sail to Puerto Natales, crossing Almirante Montt Gulf. Arrive at Puerto Natales in Maritime Skorpios terminal.

The trip was terrific with great planning on your part. Most of the adventures were not mainstream and somewhat off the beaten path which made it especially enjoyable!! We felt taken care of and you all were readily available to respond to questions and issues.
