I did not go hungry for a second while on the ship, which is not great for a trip where you're in a bathing suit! The breakfasts on the ship were buffet style and has a ton of variety so there is something for everyone. There are about 8 to 10 different hot options like bacon, pancakes, french toast, potatoes, and veggies. There was also a chef-manned egg station where you can build your own omelet or egg dish. In addition to all of the hot food, there is also plenty of cold options as well like meats, cheeses and fruits. As if that wasn't enough, you can't forget to enjoy a pastry item! The crew serves coffee and tea to interested parties in addition to the fresh squeezed juices.
We were mostly off board for lunch in the port, but the ship does serve lunch for those who decide to stay on board. While in Jost Van Dyke, the crew actually had a beach barbecue for everyone, and it was delicious! Plenty of beef, chicken, fish, and grilled veggie options, as well as a variety of pasta salads, potato salads, and veggie salads. We did have one day where we moving from one location to the next in the middle of the day, so the crew set up an elaborate lunch on the main deck at the Tropical Bar. There was hot and cold food, a carving station with a full turkey, and too many desserts to count.
Dinner was plated, and you could order as little or as much as you want. They gave 3 or 4 options for an appetizer, 3 or 4 options for an entree, a salad, a palate cleanser, and 3 or 4 dessert options. The options included a meat, veg, and fish dish so there was something for everyone. If there is nothing that was striking my fancy, I could always order a steak with fries or a pasta dish; that was always an option for people to order every night.
Drink on the ship were very cheap, typically running around $3 for a beer or glass of wine and $5 for a cocktail. They always had a cocktail of the day as well, like a Mai Tai or a Mango Colada. I ordered a bottle of wine with dinner, and when I didn't finish it, they corked it and wrote my room number on it and brought it back for me with dinner the next day.
Be sure to sign up for all the tours, otherwise you will be sitting on the boat since not all stops are moored at a dock. Some are anchored.

There were two best aspects to our trip:
1. The Adventure Life folks and the folks in Athens and Crete who supported our itinerary, guided us, and ran the cooking program were all superb.
2. Everything they all planned for us went without a hitch. When we needed a bit of help, they came through with really good answers.
We became aware of AL from a friend who had an excellent experience in a different location. So did we. We can recommend AL without reservation.

We have used AL for decades now to plan trips. Kassandra has been with us from the start and has never disappointed. She knows our family and our quirks and is always willing to fit the trip to us. This time we made her work for the booking because of family member schedules. It has all come together for a great Christmas gift for many families.

Shannon could not have been more helpful in arranging our recent booking with Uncruise. Very knowledgeable, professional and pleasant to work with. I highly recommend Adventure Life.
