Day 1: Fly from Vancouver to Bella Coola | Transfer to Tweedsmuir Park Lodge

Take a 70-minute direct flight from Vancouver to Bella Coola Airport. After, a 45-minute ground transfer from Bella Coola Airport to Tweedsmuir Park Lodge takes you into a vast Canadian wilderness where your adventure begins. 

A welcome reception and dinner will be held at Tweedsmuir Park Lodge upon arrival as well as a safety briefing. Enjoy a three- or four-course plated dinner and an evening of socialization and relaxation.

In case of Inclement Weather on travel days:
• 70-minute flight from Vancouver to Anahim Lake
• 1 hour and 30 minute ground transfer from Anahim Lake Airport to Tweedsmuir Park Lodge

Day 2-5: Bella Coola Heli Sport Activities

Rise early to fuel up with a hearty breakfast before venturing on your first day of heli-skiing adventure. Your adventure begins with a warm welcome from Bella Coola Heli Sport's expert guides, who will ensure your safety and provide personalized attention throughout the trip. Each day, you will have a morning introduction, weather updates, and plans. You'll soar over breathtaking alpine landscapes in a helicopter, landing in untouched locations to carve down endless vertical descents.

Explore even deeper into the rugged backcountry, seeking out hidden gems and untouched powder stashes. Explore the real meaning of heli-skiing in Bella Coola by pushing your boundaries and tackling difficult terrain under the direction of your knowledgeable crew. With each day bringing new challenges and thrills, you'll explore diverse terrain ranging from expansive glaciers to steep, tree-lined slopes.

On average, you can expect 6-10 runs per full ski day, depending on the location, weather, and season. Runs vary from 1,000-foot (305-metre) tree runs to 5,000-foot (1,524-metre) alpine descents. In favorable conditions, often skiers can enjoy approximately 15% more vertical than is included in the package. Additional vertical is available for purchase.

Day 6: Fly from Bella Coola to Vancouver | Return Home
