Eagle Island Lodge, A Belmond Safari in Botswana, is the perfect place for a water-focused safari in the Okavango Delta.
This lodge, one of Botswana’s first safari lodges, is on a private island surrounded by the deep waters of the Okavango Delta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The lodge has twelve deluxe tented rooms designed like an explorer’s base. Each room has a big bed with views of the delta, a large outdoor deck, a private plunge pool, a luxurious bathroom with a big tub, indoor and outdoor showers, a reading nook, and a walk-in wardrobe.
The lodge offers many water-focused safari activities such as motorboat safaris, barge cruises, mokoro safaris, and more.
The area around the lodge is rich in bird and aquatic wildlife and has larger animals like elephants, buffalo, hippos, crocodiles, and big cats.

The lodge room is 82 square meters and includes a private plunge pool and outdoor deck. The rooms feature an oversized bed with Delta views, a luxurious bathroom with a large bathtub, double vanity, a walk-in wardrobe, and a walled outdoor shower with a window overlooking the Delta.
