Perched up on the edge of the valley, the view of the Chobe River and the open floodplains from the vantage of your private room and plunge pool is unrivalled in the area. Expect brilliant personal guided safaris through the park in the morning, lazy afternoons by the pool and stunning dinners under African stars. River cruises, game drives, game walks and picnics in the bush are on offer for those keen on exploring the Chobe River.
Ngoma’s thatched buildings are all made from natural materials and blend seamlessly with their surroundings. Ethnic fabrics, building material and artefacts provide a local touch. The lodge is also positioned to give guests unsurpassed views over the legendary Chobe River with many opportunities to see elephants, zebra and buffalo grazing on the floodplain.
The central area of the lodge houses the reception area, lounge, dining room, bar and a plunge pool. A well-positioned viewing deck gives guests a perfect setting from which to enjoy a beautifully prepared evening meal with views over a floodlit waterhole frequented by elephants, zebra, antelope and other game. The lodge has eight private suites, two of which have Indian day beds and may be used as triples.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!
