La Paz is an incredible, bustling city, with some of the best people-watching (and dog-watching, if you are like me) ever. I could have sat on a bench for hours doing just that- and believe me after walking around all day my feet wished I had! It was a great day though- we stocked up on more chocolate, bought souvenirs, and visited the folklore museum and the coca museum. The two museums were very different but both worthwhile. The folklore museum had incredible weavings and costumes used in traditional dances and ceremonies. The hats alone were worth the trip. The coca museum was much more rustic, but gave a thorough history of the use of coca leaves and products.
Kassandra is knowledgeable, efficient and very pleasant to work with.
