Embark on exciting jungle adventures during a stay at the secluded Lamanai Outpost Lodge. Situated on the banks of a 28 mile long spring fed lagoon amid the remnants of a major Maya city, the lodge is surrounded by an incredible variety of habitats that facilitate nature-based activities that depart right from your cabana's doorstep. Lamanai Outpost is one of only a very few of Belize's jungle lodges to have been repetitively featured on shows such as Wild Things, Discovery, Animal Planet, World Gone Wild and National Geographic Explorer.
Involves minimal physical effort and is typically associated with leisurely activities. Activities are low-intensity or last less than a few hours each day.
Arrive Belize City and join your transfer to the remote jungle lodge, via road and a river boat ride. The nearest full-service lodge or hotel is over 70 miles away and the number of cabanas at Lamanai Outpost are limited, so it is almost guaranteed that it will be just you, your guide and a few friends that you have made at the Outpost.
The average guest embarks on 2 -3 soft adventure packages each day, in small groups of about 6 - 10 people. Activities include sunrise canoeing or jungle dawn hike, Lamanai Maya ruins or Maya jungle medicine walk, sunset cocktail cruise on the lagoon or twilight nature walk. Enjoy a nightime spotlight nature cruise, and so many other activities to explore!

Initial deposit is $400, and most travelers will call our office and pay the deposit with a credit card.
Final payment is due 70 days (10 weeks) prior to departure by bank transfer, check or credit card. All final payments by credit card may be subject to a surcharge and maximum of $20,000 charge
Beyond expectations! Then again we weren't sure what to expect. Lovely stay at the lodge, met other like-minded travelers (many had their trips planned by Adventure Life) and the owner was a gracious hostess. It felt like you were one happy family, visiting with a favorite aunt.
