Travelers can arrange dive and snorkel trips when booking a visit to Ambergris. Plans can be made for multiple excursions or you can sign up for a diving or snorkeling day trip. Dive trips visit numerous sites outside the reef to view canyons, caverns, wrecks and a variety of marine life. Snorkeling can be done at Hol Chan, Shark/Ray Alley, Mexico Rocks and Coral Gardens. PADI Certification courses are also available.
Equipment that can be rented directly at the dive shop includes BCDs, regulators, wetsuits, snorkels, masks, fins, and underwater flashlights.
