A visit to Europe is even better when it includes a discovery of their world-famous beers! This 5-day beer cruise round-trip from Brussels showcases a variety of regional beers, local cuisine and delicacies, special excursions, a beer pairing dinner, brewery tours, as well as onboard discussions and tastings. This sailing gives cruisers who consider themselves wine enthusiasts or beer nuts a chance to learn more about their passion, try new varieties, and meet like-minded travelers. If you like to spend days in vineyards or delight in smelling the bouquet of a set of reds versus a bouquet of roses, then this is the perfect option for you.

Be a part of several visits to breweries with incredible tastings
Take a tour across Brussels and visit the Maison des Brasseurs museum
Discover the charming city of Bruges and explore a local brewery
Involves minimal physical effort and is typically associated with leisurely activities. Activities are low-intensity or last less than a few hours each day.
Board the ship at 6:00 p.m. in Brussels. After comfortably settling into your cabin, enjoy a welcome brew to meet the crew and get some information about your cruise. Have dinner on board.
Leave by coach for a tour of Brussels and the Maison des Brasseurs. Located in the city center, the building dates back to 1698 and is directly linked to the rise of Belgian beer brewing. The cellar houses a museum wholly dedicated to beer. Enjoy a tasting or two and then return on board. This afternoon, leave by coach for the Het Anker Brewery in Mechelen, and enjoy a tour and a tasting. This brewery is known worldwide for its Gouden Carolus variety of beers. In 1990, the fifth generation of the Van Breedam family took over the brewery and modernized the brew equipment. Next visit the family-owned Duvel Moortgat Brewery in Breendonk, founded in 1871. It is one of the most modern beer brewing factories in Belgium. Return on board for dinner in Antwerp. This evening, take a tour of Antwerp.
Take a coach to the Dilewyns Brewery. Visit the Malheur Brewery. The blonde Malheur beers are brewed according to tradition, with barley, hops and yeast, but hyper-modern equipment is now used in the process. The brown Malheur beers are brewed according to an old Flemish tradition with hops and spice. Then return on board in Lovendegem. This afternoon, join a tour of the Huyghe Brewery in Melle, where the famous Delirium Tremens is made. This beer is set apart by the three different yeasts used, and its colorful label depicting the different phases of production of the beer contribute to its success. Take a tour of downtown Ghent, including the cathedral and its belfry and Gravensteen (exteriors only). Return on board in Bruges and enjoy a presentation on Belgian beer production.
After breakfast, head to the center of Bruges. Retaining the mysteries of the Middle Ages and unashamedly fairytale-like, Bruges has been an international metropolis for centuries. Have a tasting of the Bourgogne des Flandres, brewed using unique, age-old techniques. The beer ages for several months in wooden barrels in order for the dark liquid to attain its particular taste and creamy head. Spend the afternoon cruising to Ostend. Tonight join the festive gala evening.

I've worked with Adventure Life before in planning trips and appreciate the quality of trips they put together. They use knowledgeable local guides, comfortable lodgings, and assist with transportation. I find trip planning stressful, so am happy to turn it over to them. They work within our parameters of time, budget, activity level, and types of activities to give us great experiences!

We went to the Patagonia on the Chile side and Perito Moreno in El Calafate, Argentina. Eric of San Diego handled our trip with expertise. The preparation went smoothly, despite some changes on our part with scheduling conflicts. He offered great advice which made us feel at ease with all decisions on the trip. It was truly a great experience.
