Day 1: Phnom Penh | Embark | Tan Chau

Welcome aboard for your Mekong River adventure. After you have checked in, please come to the lobby lounge for your safety briefing.

Once the ship departs, you can have the rest of the morning and the whole afternoon to yourself. It's time to relax and enjoy the river's peaceful rhythm. You can get a massage, sunbathe on the terrace deck, or relax on your private balcony. If you want to learn more about Khmer gastronomy, you can join a culinary workshop to enhance your knowledge of the local cuisine.

In the afternoon, the ship will approach Vietnam, and you arrive in Tan Chau, a small town with a mix of Chinese, Kinh, and Khmer communities. The ship will dock near the city so that you can enjoy the view of the riverbanks.

Day 2: Tan Chau | My An Hung | Binh Thanh Island

Welcome to the fish sanctuary of Vietnam. Your day will begin with a refreshing Tai Chi session followed by a delicious breakfast, setting the perfect tone for your adventurous day ahead.

As you disembark, get ready to immerse yourself in the vibrant town life of Tan Chau by hopping onto traditional Vietnamese rickshaws, known as "xelois." Your personal xeloi driver will guide you through a maze of streets, allowing you to observe local workshops, street vendors, shops, and the fascinating day-to-day activities of the residents. This unique journey will lead you to the local market, where you can have the chance to interact with locals as they go about their morning shopping routine. You can also have the opportunity to visit a Cao Dai temple and engage with one of the priests to learn about the distinctive beliefs and spirit of Cao Dai. The day will culminate with a visit to a fish farm run by a local family, where you can gain valuable insight into the intricacies of managing such a unique enterprise in this region.

After returning on board and enjoying a leisurely siesta following lunch, your expert guides will share a captivating presentation about life in the Mekong Delta. As the ship sails to My An Hung near Sa Dec province, you can have the chance to explore this picturesque village, offering a glimpse into the timeless essence of local life in the Mekong Delta. You can have the opportunity to visit a local family's household and discover the seasonal vegetable fields to gain an understanding of the farmers' cultivation practices. Additionally, be treated to a Vietnamese tea tasting at the local family's house, accompanied by a presentation of freshly picked fruits grown nearby. To add to the experience, be entertained by a traditional dragon dance performance while savoring the locally renowned "vitamin bombs."

As the ship sets sail into the enchanting sunset towards your next destination, you can relish a complimentary cocktail hour by the pool, accompanied by music and dance vibes, creating the perfect ambiance for the "blue hour" before indulging in a delightful dinner.

Day 3: Binh Thanh Island | Tan Phong Island | My Tho

Wake early to embrace the stunning dawn scenery when the Delta's inhabitants have been active for hours. Enjoy your daily Tai Chi class before indulging in a lavish breakfast buffet. By local boat, head out to one of the larger islands in the Mekong known as Binh Thanh. This island is home to several communities that sustain themselves by cultivating water hyacinths. Strolling through the village, you can gain profound insights into local life and witness the traditional mat-making process. Additionally, you can have the opportunity to meet a local elderly couple who have spent their entire lives on this island. They enjoy engaging in conversations with foreign visitors.

Afterward, the ship makes its final journey to My Tho, offering some little farewell party vibes along the way.

Day 4: My Tho | Saigon | Disembark | Return Home

  • 1 Breakfast
Enjoy your last breakfast aboard your floating home. Disembark the ship after breakfast and take a bus transfer from My Tho to Saigon. It is only around 70 kilometers on the highway, and you arrive in Saigon by mid-morning.

Hope you enjoyed this fascinating river cruise, just as the crew does every single time. Moreover, take the enchanting memories and friendships with you and share the stories of this amazing river - the Mighty Mekong.

The trip might have been the absolute best of our lifetime (thus far). We particularly want to commend our guide Peter in the Guilin area-he was so incredibly attentive, energetic, enthusiastic-and absolutely dedicated to ensuring that our meals were 100% vegetarian.
