This exciting journey across the Andes mountains combines three circuits with different characteristics. The "Way to the Clouds" ride is an iconic railway experience; the Puna circuit is a fantastic view of an amazing desert landscape with changing colors in spring and autumn. The route down the Humahuaca gorge is just stunning! These trails offer many highlights along the way: San Antonio de Los Cobres, where the famous train stops at 1,832 meters above sea level, Salinas Grandes (enormous salt lake) of Jujuy, and Purmamarca (known for its colorful rock formations).

The second circuit goes through the Puna, along National Route Nº 40, up to Salinas Grandes (enormous salt lake) of Jujuy. The trip might have been the absolute best of our lifetime (thus far). We particularly want to commend our guide Peter in the Guilin area-he was so incredibly attentive, energetic, enthusiastic-and absolutely dedicated to ensuring that our meals were 100% vegetarian.
