The lodge features a collection of beautifully designed cabins that seamlessly integrate with the surrounding landscape. Built in 2023, Ilimanaq Lodge is a 27-hour experience focused on gourmet, nature, and life in a tiny settlement at the edge of the world. Dine in a historical building from 1751 and watch whales from your bungalow. Each cabin is designed using sustainable materials and boasts large windows that offer spectacular views of Disko Bay and the icebergs that drift by.

The huts are a two-story structure designed to integrate into the surrounding tundra. Every hut has a beautiful Nordic-inspired design, and each lodge has a private bathroom and toilet designed in a Nordic style. As highly modern buildings, they have flushing toilets, warm water in the shower, and electricity for lighting and heating.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!
