Follow in the wake of great explorers like Francis Drake, Captain James Cook and Henry Hudson who attempted to cross the 80th parallel in search of a passageway that connects the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. The N80° is the circle of latitude that is 80 degrees north of the Earth’s equatorial plane, in the Arctic, intersecting the Atlantic Ocean, Europe, Asia, the Arctic Ocean and North America. Just north of 80° after the point of the crossing you will come to Moffen, a small, low island north of the mouth of Wijdefjorden, on the northern coast of Spitsbergen, the largest island of the Svalbard archipelago. This was my first experience with Adventure Life - and I couldn't have been more pleased with the trip. The guides and local staff in both Buenos Aires and Uruguay were terrific - extremely helpful and accommodating. I really enjoyed meeting the friendly staff in Buenos Aires in person (I left my bags with them for the afternoon).
kevin Moore, our agent, is very knowledgeable about the tours and details, and researches quickly any follow up ?s.
