Arrive in Ushuaia and transfer to a carefully selected luxury hotel. Take time to relax or explore the world's southernmost city. In the evening, attend a briefing to ask questions and connect with fellow travelers.
After breakfast, unwind at the resort or explore Ushuaia’s museums and leather markets. In the afternoon, transfer to the ship, meet the Expedition Team, attend a safety briefing, and settle in before setting sail for Antarctica.
Join Polar Experts as they share vast knowledge of Antarctica’s wildlife and history. Participate in a Citizen Science program or relax and take in the journey. Keep binoculars ready to spot seabirds escorting the ship across the Antarctic Convergence into cooler waters.
Volcanic activity shapes the rugged landscapes of the South Shetland Islands, creating dramatic mountains, glaciers, and unique geology. Encounter Chinstrap and Gentoo penguins along the shore and spot Elephant and Fur seals resting nearby. Keep watch for whales as you explore by Zodiac or kayak. Whether on land or water, immerse yourself in the wild beauty of this remote region.
Heading south across the Bransfield Strait, you see the breathtaking outline of the Antarctic Peninsula. Wildlife sightings become more frequent, with penguins, whales, and fur seals appearing alongside towering ice sculptures. If weather and ice conditions allow, you join the select few who cross the Antarctic Circle, where the sun shines for 20 hours a day. A special celebration marks the moment before you continue to historic and rarely visited British survey bases, then begin the journey north.
Head north and explore the Antarctic Peninsula’s spectacular bays and famed harbors. Navigate dramatic channels and wildlife-rich waters, encountering lively penguins, seals, and whales along rugged coastlines. Stop at active scientific bases and historic landing sites, seizing every opportunity to experience the best of this remote and remarkable region.
Depart this remarkable place and journey north, crossing the Antarctic Convergence and the Drake Passage. Celebrate the expedition’s conclusion with a special slideshow and a final meal before returning to port.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!
