Despite our generational differences and the occasional accusation (on my part) of my dad being too American and (on his part) of me being too hard on him, we did pretty well! In our own ways, we each embraced this experience and processed it as a new chapter in our lives. For sure, we both came out different people; that’s a given no matter who you are and how far you go. I think we can both agree that we learned so much about each other. We may not spend more than 11 days on any given journey together again, but I can safely say that the last 33 years has been an incredible journey, and Ecuador was just a cherry on top.
Traveling relationships are tender and require extra care, attention, patience, and love. I am so honored to say that I have now traveled internationally with both my mother and father. Each experience was as precious as the last and as treasured as the next. I hope to travel the world with many more amazing people and look forward to meeting new travel companions along the way. After all, we all want to experience this life to its fullest and die happy travelers.
Our advisor at Adventure Life, Mary Curry, was knowledgable and quick to respond with answers to any questions we had. She made our booking efficiently and set up a time for us to make a secure payment through her directly. We’ve used Adventure Life repeatedly and would definitely recommend it.

I selected Adventure Travel as I was not satisfied with the responsiveness of the agent for the cruise I was trying to book and it had good recommendations. So far, I am quite happy with my agent, Betty, very responsive and accommodating.

Jess was great. Our plans changed and we had to make some adjustments and she was super helpful. Finding us a cost-effective alternative to our original trip plan.

Erin was great to work with! Very quick with her replies and provided all the information I needed, no matter how many times I changed my request! This was my first time ever planning a trip like this and it couldn't have gone better.
