Between our Amazon and Galapagos experience, we spent a day and a half exploring the Quito region and all its wonders. This might be where you plan some independent activities, but you will not be disappointed with your Adventure Life guide and transportation services. Our guide, Gabriel, was literally a walking encyclopedia, and he was very proud of his knowledge. He told us that for every thing his travelers ask him about, he better have at least five things to say about it. If he didn’t have at least five things, then he would education himself until he did. That’s dedication! Gabriel and our driver, Carlos, provided a private day of entertainment in Otavalo valley and the surrounding area. Their services certainly beat public transportation and fighting the crowds, not to mention that Gabriel made sure we knew when it was ok to take photos and ask questions, versus times when you want to be a subtler tourist. It's tips like these that make the difference when you plan your trip through a travel organization vs. independently, and knowledge like this helps you understand the culture of the places you visit.

I've worked with Adventure Life before in planning trips and appreciate the quality of trips they put together. They use knowledgeable local guides, comfortable lodgings, and assist with transportation. I find trip planning stressful, so am happy to turn it over to them. They work within our parameters of time, budget, activity level, and types of activities to give us great experiences!

We have been working with Adventure Life for 5 years now and it is very easy to plan out our trips. Our holidays include customization of activities and side trips along with the standard packages available on the Adventure Life website. Kevin, Jess, Mary Rose and their teams have many recommendations that have enhanced our travel.

We went to the Patagonia on the Chile side and Perito Moreno in El Calafate, Argentina. Eric of San Diego handled our trip with expertise. The preparation went smoothly, despite some changes on our part with scheduling conflicts. He offered great advice which made us feel at ease with all decisions on the trip. It was truly a great experience.
