Befirk Kossoye Eco Lodge is located 30km away from the medieval city of Gondar. With breathtaking views of the Semien mountains and Kossoye hills and removed from the city noise, it is undoubtedly a place of rest and relaxation.

As an Eco Lodge, the focus of community-based tourism is essential in order to ensure that the local community benefits from the lodge's existence. The entire construction of the Lodge was carried out with the village's help. Local women collected wood and local craftsmen helped with the interior decoration of the lodge. With the help of the locals, 50,000 local indigenous trees were planted to cover the region and teach the locals to maintain the eco-system. Guests will have an opportunity to contribute to by planting a tree during their stay if they choose.
Accommodation
The rooms are strategically built to allow for amazing views of Kossoye hills and the Semien Mountains. There are seven traditional, clean, and comfortable two-room tukuls (bungalows) named after royal families who have visited in the past.
The modern bungalows offer a seating area, a work desk, and a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. The comfortable spacious rooms have large windows offering a mountain and city view. Rooms have the following facilities:
