Besides the wonders of Iceland the highlight of the trip was our driver/guide Karl. He was informative. Always smoothed our way to restaurants, hotels, museums, rest areas. He couldn’t have been more attentive or fun. Perfect ten for him.

The experience was remarkable. The crew members and guides were professional. Fellow travelers were all friendly.

Excursions - particular into the First Nations communities were excellent. We learnt so much of their culture. It was a privilege to be there. Our expedition leaders were all very knowledgeable and fun to be with. Shipboard accommodation was comfortable, and we enjoyed the routine of the ship. The crew were all great, and our GF dietary requirement was satisfied completely. We loved that being on a small ship we could access areas of the Inside Passage that large ships could not navigate. This gave access to the most spectacular scenery and tranquility.

Mai and Mary are both terrific. Mai helps us promptly and efficiently. It is a pleasure to work with her

Everything was top notch...guide was super knowledgeable, boat was gorgeous, clean, staff on boat super organized, safety was a priority, excursions were great, nightly activities on the boat were awesome, food delicious and nice variety, etc. We had a phenomenal time. Erin and Suleica were awesome to work with as well. Fast to respond to emails, etc.

We loved the Amazon and Galapagos. Our guide on the Manatee was amazing- his enjoyment from showing us the animals, area was contagious. It was so fun in the Galapagos to experience all the animals!! Erin and Michelle helped make the experience great! Starting with the planning all the way to confirming all of our documentation was in place- they are the best!!

Everything about the trip was exceptional. The scenery was gorgeous all throughout the cruise on the Douro River. The staff members on board ship were very friendly and responsive to any need. The food was gourmet quality at every meal and tea time. The tour guides were very knowledgeable, extremely attentive, friendly, and helpful.The excursions as well as all of the daily activities were well planned, interesting, and fun. I would highly recommend both Adventure Life and Emerald Cruise Line to anyone looking for a fantastic vacation that is well organized, interesting, and thoroughly enjoyable.

Seeing the “Big Five” was amazing. Our guide, Joseph, worked extremely hard to see that our Safari goals were met. He worked with the guides to get us where we needed to be to view the cats, elephants, rinos, buffalos, etc. Absolutely beautiful.

Seeing the Big Five was amazing! Our guide, Joseph, knew the land well. He was Knowledgable and patient. He worked with the safari drivers to see to it that we saw all the amazing animals.

Juan Carlos was PHENOMENAL. In every possible way. Because of him our trip exceeded all expectations.
