The Memory at On On is the oldest hotel in Phuket, first opening it's doors in 1929. It is located in the heart of Phuket Old Town. The name "On On" comes from "Un Un" in Chinese, meaning happiness for all visitors. It is easy to get around the town by foot and there are local bus services that can bring you to the beach for the day. You can experience the culture, cuisines and religions of Phuket just by strolling down the nearby streets. There are art galleries, cafes, bars, stores and traders, and a variety of restaurants to explore.
The hotel has been renovated to maintain the Sino-Portuguese architecture while offering modern amenities. The rooms and suites have a minimalist design and include traditional shuttered windows, decorative tiled floors and antique decorations. The Memory at On On offers a Sino-Portuguese style restaurant with Thai cuisine and international favorites.
The trip might have been the absolute best of our lifetime (thus far). We particularly want to commend our guide Peter in the Guilin area-he was so incredibly attentive, energetic, enthusiastic-and absolutely dedicated to ensuring that our meals were 100% vegetarian.
Plans were described and booked with efficiency and speed. Adventure LIfe is outstanding in travel planning.

Angie was AMAZING in helping us plan our two week, multi-generational trip (for 12 people) to Japan. She really listened to what we wanted and helped plan every detail. One of the best travel specialists I've worked with. Thank you Angie!
