Arguably the world's most famous wine region, and France's largest producing 700 million bottles of Bordeaux wine every year, needless to say, Bordeaux has myriad wine estates to explore (and taste)!

The classic red varietals of Cabernet Savignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc among others are normally blended for classic Bordeaux blends. The whites blend Semillon and Cabernet Blanc primarily.

We will taste Grand Cru wines in the most celebrated regions like Médoc, on the Left Bank of the Gironde Estuary, that is home to the legendary Château Gruaud Larose, Château Léoville Poyferré Château Latour, Château Mouton Rothschild, Château Lafite Rothschild and Château Pichon Longueville.

On the Right Bank, visit Bordeaux’s most elite wine regions, Saint-Émilion, and enjoy a wine tasting at either Château de Ferrand or Château de Pressac.
