Take a trip to Ilulissat, a coastal city in western Greenland, to have an exceptional cruise throughout many must-see Arctic destinations. Disko Bay is a short boat ride away from Ilulissat and offers massive glaciers and fjords. Even closer to Ilulissat is the Ilulissat Icefjord, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004. There are also trails throughout Ilulissat that lead to the Sermermiut Settlement: a quaint Inuit settlement. Visiting the Sermermiut Settlement pairs extremely well with visiting the Ilulissat Museum so you can learn about the area's history, founding, and culture. Additionally, hiking, observing wildlife, and dog sledding are very popular outdoor activities here. The wildlife consists of mainly Arctic wildlife including polar foxes, reindeer, polar bears, plenty of bird species, arctic wolves, and whales. Hannah and Nur got the gist of what we wanted our trip to be. They got us in hotels that were located centrally to historic tours. Tours and excursions that were significant, enriching and enjoyable. We had drivers that were on time/reliable. We got from location to location with ease. I would never have been able to plan this myself. I would not have known enough to ask for what we needed. This was above and beyond what I expected. Well done!
