Aranui 5 is a new custom-built, dual-purpose passenger/freighter that sails from Tahiti to the Marquesas, Tuamotu and Society Islands in French Polynesia on a 14-day all-inclusive cruise. Aranui means “The Great Highway” in Tahitian, and for nearly four decades Aranui ships have served as a lifeline to the Islanders, bringing supplies to their many villages and valleys.

Redesigned and custom built with passenger comfort in mind, embark on a voyage of discovery following the paths of Paul Gauguin, Robert Louis Stevenson, Thor Heyerdahl and Jacques Brel. Offering all of the comforts of a cruise liner, Aranui 5 accommodates approximately 254 passengers in 103 cabins. With 8 different guest decks, the interior decor reflects the Polynesian heritage of her owners and crew, who welcome you to these exotic, captivating islands they call home.

Meet new friends in the bars and lounge or while relaxing on the deck or by the pool, as the islands seem to float by. After a 3 course dinner, let the lively Aranui Band introduce you to Polynesian rhythms and teach you to swivel your hips to the infectious beat of the Tamure or the Tahitian Waltz. Watch the infinite colors of the sunset play in the sky and sea as another day draws to a close in the South Pacific.

Passenger accommodations range from Premium exterior staterooms, more than 90 percent with a private balcony, to Standard exterior staterooms with a picture window or porthole, to Class C, shared dormitory style cabins with occupancy for 4 or 8. Select from:

• 32 Suites – from 194 sq. ft to 440 sq. ft + balcony from 45 sq. ft (except 2 suites without balcony), capacity of 2 or 3 adults
• 31 Deluxe – from 140 sq. ft to 205 sq. ft + balcony of 45 sq. ft, capacity of 2 persons
