Luxurious and spacious, the tents are tastefully decorated and expertly designed for optimal relaxation. Each features canvas and thatched rooms, en-suite facilities, outdoor shower, and private sala.
The main area of the camp features an elaborate two-story building which offers a lounge and dining area, two plunge pools, library, curio shop, boma for dining under the stars, and an excellent wine cellar. An award-winning spa and gymnasium are also available.
Remote Jao is often surrounded by spectacular herds of lechwe, as well as lions, leopards, tsessebe, giraffe, elephant, hippo, and crocodile. Ideal for those seeking relaxation in a safari-style setting, Jao delights its guests with an expert staff and numerous activities. This was my first experience with Adventure Life - and I couldn't have been more pleased with the trip. The guides and local staff in both Buenos Aires and Uruguay were terrific - extremely helpful and accommodating. I really enjoyed meeting the friendly staff in Buenos Aires in person (I left my bags with them for the afternoon).
