Day 1: Amsterdam | Embark

Possibility of a transfer by coach(5) from Strasbourg to Amsterdam (for an extra fee). Passengers are welcome to board the ship in Amsterdam at 6:00 p.m. After settling into the cabins, enjoy a welcome cocktail and meet the crews. Join an excursion for a canal boat tour to the enchanting Amsterdam at night.

Day 2: Amsterdam

This morning, the excursions proposed are:
CLASSIC: Guided tour of Amsterdam in the historic heart of this beautiful capital city.
DISCOVERY: Bike tour of Amsterdam. Explore and learn about all the must-see and out-of-the-way sites.

In the afternoon, join an excursion for a visit the Keukenhof Gardens.

The ship cruises to Nijmegen through the night.

Day 3: Nijmegen | Krefeld

The ship reaches the Nijmegen early this morning. The excursions proposed are:
CLASSIC: Visit to the Kröller Müller museum(3).
DISCOVERY: Enjoy a great bike ride through the De Hoge Veluwe National Park(3).

Spend the afternoon sailing towards Krefeld, reaching it in the night.

Day 4: Krefeld | Cologne | Koenigswinter

This morning is spent cruising towards Cologne. Enjoy some free time on your own or discover the old town of this ancient Roman city, do not miss out on the cathedral whose completion took five centuries. Then, continue sailing towards Koenigswinter. The evening is yours, to do as you please.

Day 5: Koenigswinter | Rudesheim

As the ship cruises through the beautiful Romantic Rhine Valley, sit back and admire the castles, historic towns, vineyards and of course the landscapes surrounding the famous Lorelei Rock, a legend which continues to inspire numerous writers, painters and composers alike. Reach Rüdesheim at the end of the afternoon. Upon arrival, enjoy some of your free time or join an excursion for a ride by tourist train and stop at a wine tasting cellar*, followed by a visit to the Museum of Mechanical Musical Instruments.

Tonight, take advantage of some free time to amble down the Drosselgasse, famous for its bands and cafes.

Day 6: Rudesheim | Speyer or Mannheim

The ship cruises to Mannheim during the morning. This afternoon, join an excursion for a visit to Heidelberg. Enjoy the gala dinner and evening onboard. Cruise through the night to Strasbourg.

Day 7: Strasbourg

Enjoy time and lunch on your own in Strasbourg today. Take advantage of this time to take in the charming sites and discover its unique cathedral as well as the quaint Petite France district and its canals. You can also choose to go shopping or visit some of the museums such as the Alsatian Museum, the Tomi Ungerer Museum or the Historical Museum (entrance fees, guides, lunch and transfers not included).

Then cruise to Mainz and enjoy the dinner on board tonight.

Day 8: Mainz | Frankfurt

Reach Mainz in the morning. This city lies at the confluence of the Rhine and the Main is a perfect blend of past and present. Take a tour to the city with a hostess before sailing on towards Frankfurt. This afternoon, join an excursion for a sightseeing tour of Frankfurt, the largest financial center in continental Europe, and the ascent of the Main Tower. Then, return on board and cruise towards Miltenberg.

Day 9: Miltenberg | Wertheim

Stop over in Miltenberg early in the morning for some free time to visit this peaceful town. Then cruise again to Wertheim. Upon arrival, enjoy some more your free time to explore this charming medieval town on your own before returning to the ship.

Day 10: Wertheim | Würzburg

  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
The ship sails to Karlstadt. Upon arrival, join an excursion for a visit to Würzburg and the Residenz, former residence of the prince-bishops. Then, return on board in Würzburg and start sailing towards Schweinfurt. Enjoy the entertainment onboard this evening.

Day 11: Schweinfurt | Rothenburg | Bamberg

Reach Schweinfurt early this morning. Join an excursion for a guided tour of Rothenburg, a magnificent walled town set up high on the hills over the river - its narrow streets lined with picturesque half-timbered houses and workshops. It is one of the most beautiful towns on the historic Romantic Road. Then return on board afterward and sail on towards Bamberg while enjoying the entertainment onboard.

Day 12: Bamberg | Nuremberg | Muhlhausen

The ship sails on the Rhine-Main-Danube Canal towards Nuremberg. Upon arrival, join an excursion for a guided tour to Nuremberg, a melting pot of cultural highlights, and tasting of its famous gingerbread. This old town and market place are surrounded by Gothic-style buildings and half-timbered houses. Then, return on board and sail towards Muhlhausen. Enjoy the entertainment onboard this evening.

Day 13: Muhlhausen | Regensburg

The ship cruise towards the Kelheim. Join an excursion to Regensburg, the fourth biggest town in Bavaria and a major industrial hub for giant firms such as BMW, Siemens, and Triumph. The historic center is seeping with two centuries of history. Then return to the ship in Regensburg. Enjoy the entertainment onboard this evening as you sail through the night to Passau.

Day 14: Regensburg | Passau

Upon reaching Passau, enjoy the time on your own or join the hostess for a discovery tour of the town. Afterward, return on board and sail on to Vienna. Enjoy the gala dinner and evening tonight. The ship continues cruising through the night.

Day 15: Passau | Vienna | Disembark

Reach the Vienna, Austria early this morning. Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking.
