We flew across the Drake Passage from Rio Gallegos, Argentina to King George Island and cruised on the Ocean Nova for 4 days before flying back to Punta Arenas, Chile

When I got on the plane in New York City (Jan 26th) it was 11°F and when I got off the plane in Quito, Ecuador it was 80°F degrees.

Cory and I were so grateful to have had the opportunity to explore this beautiful part of the world. Our Patagonian Safari was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we will treasure forever. Thank you Adventure Life!

2 nights Buenos Aires--1 day Tierra del Fuego National Park Ushuaia--4 days Mare Australis cruise through Magellan Straights and to Cape Horn--3 nights at Torres del Paine Eco Camp--2 nights at Estancia el Galpon, El Calafate--Ascent of Perito Moreno Glacier--Return home from El Calafate via Buenos Aires.

Patagonia trek and Atacama Desert extension: How to sum up this trip? Of course it was a chance to see spectacular scenery, meet new people, and experience a different culture. Being open to learning about such things, knowing I will also learn more about myself, is what makes adventure travel so rewarding. Not to mention way fun.

I would like to thank all the people at Adventure Life who helped make this Falkland Islands tour come true. It was a truly amazing tour! Actually it was a spiritual adventure in some ways and this was made possible by the warmth and friendship of all the people we met in the Falklands. I can\'t say enough about this tour to adequately say how much it meant to us. We didn\'t realize how moving the whole experience was until after we had returned home and gone over the place, people and photos. Thank you Adventure Life for making it all possible.

The land and people of Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego are special indeed. There are few places left in the world where one can experience the untouched beauty and remoteness of nature and the friendliness of the people who inhabit such places. Here is the adventure of my Patagonia Trip!

From the first contact in Ushuaia, Argentina, to the drop-off in Punta Arenas some nine days later we were safely guided through some of the most spectacular scenery in the world and provided some of the finest in service we had ever had.

We traveled to Santiago, Chile for a few days then onto Easter Island for our tour. There was so much artistic talent on the island. Both myself and my friend have longed to return to the magnificent Easter Island!
