El Cortijo offers its guests a warm, familiar atmosphere, aromatic home-style cuisine, and the appropriate space for resting and contemplating nature bounded to art, with the cordial personalized attention of its hostess, Maria Luisa.
The Hostal El Cortijo is an old farmhouse, originally belonging to the Bergesi family. The building has recently been restored, adding modern comfort to the original rooms without altering its original architectural charm, with adobe, stone, cane, and wood livened by antique furniture, lamps, chandeliers, antiquities and sacred Latin American pieces. The rooms differ in size, shape and decoration (nothing is standard) and for that reason are not numbered but are named. They are distributed on the main floor around the Grapevine Patio designed by the sculptor Alejandro de la Cruz. On the second floor, from an ancient balcony you can appreciate the wonderful background landscape, the "Nevado de Cachi."
The Hostal has a large central patio and comfortable gallery to enjoy the open air, including a barbecue pit that can be used by the guests at their wish. The kitchen conserves all of the warmth of the ancient household where all types of exquisite cuisine are prepared.
Hostal El Cortijo has 15 different rooms where you can appreciate the individual personality such as size, furniture, decoration and art, offering a distinct atmosphere for each guest on their Argentina tour.

This was my first experience with Adventure Life - and I couldn't have been more pleased with the trip. The guides and local staff in both Buenos Aires and Uruguay were terrific - extremely helpful and accommodating. I really enjoyed meeting the friendly staff in Buenos Aires in person (I left my bags with them for the afternoon).
