La Casa de Marita

The hotel La Casa de Marita is situated on Isabela Island and marries the character of a traditional hotel with that of an Italian villa. It has a lovely family atmosphere as well as privacy.

Guests are able to observe the endemic species that make Isabela and the Galapagos tours so famous.

The hotel, located in Puerto Villamil, the only village on the island, is very close to the beach and has an incomparable view of the ocean.

The central building has 8 independent rooms, 4 suites and a small green house. Every room is uniquely decorated, teeming with local flair. The size of these rooms is 30 square meters and more.

All rooms have air conditioning, telephone (international phone calls possible) and a minibar.

It is also possible to use the Internet and send e-mails from our reading room.

Guests share a sitting room, a library and a bar with the friendly owners. There is also an outdoor jacuzzi where you can relax and enjoy the stellar view.

The dining room is situated on the third floor of the central building. The cuisine is a combination of international and local favorites, and we also offer a varied list of wines and liquors.

There is a spacious garden overflowing with palm trees and flowers. Enjoy a rest on the hammocks and armchairs in this serene hideaway. You can also relax under beachfront parasols.

The beach is 3 kilometres long (about 5 miles long) with white sand and unique vegetation. From here you can admire the region's volcanoes.

The hotel offers the following facilities: guided excursions, horse rental, snorkelling mask rental, and transfers by land as well as by sea.
