Alumni Discount

All past Adventure Life travelers are eligible for a discount on their next adventure according to the following schedule:

• Second Adventure Life Trip: 5% Discount
• Third Adventure Life Trip: 6% Discount
• Fourth and Subsequent Trips: 8% Discount

We also know that our alumni are outstanding at recruiting their friends and family to join the community of Adventure Lifers! So in addition to our alumni discounts and a grand thank you, we also want to reward you for spreading the good word. Refer your friends, family, co-workers, mail-carrier, dentist, accountant, book club buddies -- we'd love to meet them all -- to Adventure Life for their next vacation. They'll get a great trip, and you'll get great gifts including terrific travel discounts so you can enjoy another adventure of your own!

The Alumni Referral Rewards

One confirmed trip:

• Photo album - customized cover produced by the women from Mantay shelter in Cusco, Peru
• One year free subscription to Natural History Magazine
• Additional $100.00 off a future trip with Adventure Life.

Three confirmed trips:

• Adventure Life will make a $200 donation in your name (or the name of your choice) to one of the following non-profits:
  Nature Conservancy, World Wildlife Fund, Conservation International, Charles Darwin Research Station, or Rainforest Alliance.
• Textile handicraft from Latin America
• Additional $200.00 off a future trip with Adventure Life.

Five confirmed trips:

• Free digital camera
• Additional $1000.00 off a future trip with Adventure Life.

The Small Print

Yes -- there are a few limitations, but more than anything we want to make the rewards as clear and available as possible. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to call us at 1-800-344-6118 or email

• Alumni Referral Rewards apply only to referral bookings made after alumni has signed-up for the said program.
• Reward packages are based on confirmed trips.
• "Confirmed Trips" are based on booked departures. They are not based on individual travelers.
• Referral rewards are limited to one alumni, per household.
• Travel discounts are non-redemable for cash. Non-transferable.
• Travel discounts can be applied to trips offered through either Adventure Life Journeys or Adventure Life VOYAGES
• Note on textiles and photo album cover: because the gifts are custom-made, no two items are exactly alike. While gifts may vary in appearance, they are of equal value and quality.
• An alumni needs to sign-up for the referral rewards program in order to take advantage of said program. Alumni are responsible for managing their account and notifying us of referral bookings.
• Fellow Adventure Life alumni are not considered referrals.
• Travel agents, receiving commission, are not eligible to take advantage of the Alumni Rewards program. Bookings made through an agency cannot be counted as a referral.
• Alumni reward discounts may not be used in conjunction with a group discount.
