Volcanoes Safaris Partnership Trust (VSPT)

Established in 2009, the Volcanoes Safaris Partnership Trust (VSPT) connects luxury lodges to local communities for long-term, self-sustaining projects focused on community enrichment, great ape conservation, habitat restoration, and human-wildlife conflict reduction. Funding is sourced from safari bookings and private donations. Guests at Volcanoes Lodges have the opportunity to visit VSPT projects, including various activities at Kyambura Gorge Lodge, Bwindi Lodge, Mount Gahinga Lodge, and Virunga Lodge. Private donations support community projects, and VSPT products are available for purchase at the lodges.

This was our first trip to South America and we were a little nervous. But Adventure Life made things so easy! All our questions were answered before we left, and our guide, Vidal, was amazing! He gave us enough space to explore without rushing us along. He also knew where the best picture taking opportunities were, which was great.
